Web-Edition
Visendo Analyzer’s Web-Edition is a release of Professional Edition with limited
functionality. Web Edition can analyse web server logs only. Additional analysis
modules are not possible.
For following log types complete analysis-schemes are provided:
- Webserver logs in W3C format (IIS 4 or newer, etc.)
- Webserver logs in NCSA resp. CLF format (Apache etc.)
- Webserver logs in IIS format (MS specific)
The special web server analysis module includes 20 independent statistics:
- General statistic
The general statistic shows how many visitors have viewed a certain web page. Hits
are the number of inquiries to the web server (all files). Page views only count
the web pages viewed, i.e. all inquiries to defined filetypes. Sessions are the
number of unique visitors. Besides, the status codes are analyzed by the server.
- Weekdays
Shows the average distribution of page views on week days.
- Hours of day
Shows the average distribution of page views on time of day.
- Bandwidth
Shows traffic caused by file access.
- Files
Shows which files are retrieved most often from the server.
- Pages
Shows which web pages have been viewed. This analysis corresponds to a file access
statistic filtered by web page file types.
- Dynamic pages
Shows which dynamic pages have been viewed. Filtered by file types of dynamic
server pages. In this analysis the request parameters are included.
- Downloads
Shows which files have been downloaded most often. Filtered on file types of common
downloads (zip, doc, pdf, ...).
- Folders
Shows which directories have been retrieved most often.
- Filetypes
Shows which filetypes have been retrieved most often.
- 404-Error
Shows attempts of access to non-existing web page as well as a hyperlink to the
page from which the visitor tried to access the non-existing file.
- 500-Error
Shows attempts of access to dynamic web pages which caused a serer error. The
access parameters are also shown for debugging purposes.
- Referrer Domains
Shows the domains from which your visitors came(search machines also).
- Referrer Addresses
Shows the web pages your visitors came from. You see the exact address (file with
access parameter), search machines are filtered.
- Search engines
Shows the search machines from which your visitors came.
- Search expressions
Shows the search expressions used by your visitors at search machines before
coming to your page.
- Keywords
Shows which words have been used most often in the search expressions.
- Browser
Shows percentage of browsers used by your visitors. MS Internet Explorer, Netscape/Mozilla
and Opera are analyzed explicitly. In other cases the whole identifier is showed
(search machine crawler, bots, etc.).
- MS Internet Explorer
Shows the distribution of the MS IE versions used by your visitors.
- Operating Systems
Shows percentage of operating systems used by your visitors.
